Ahtna Heritage Foundation Opens Cultural Center
The Ahtna Heritage Foundation held an open house Monday commemorating
the opening of the Ahtna Cultural Center at the Wrangell St. Elias
National Park Visitor Center complex. Organizers say the mission of the
center is not only to share the Ahtna culture with visitors to the
Copper River area, but to help preserve it for current and future
generations. KCHU reporter Erik Wander was in attendance at Monday's
