Longshoreman's Lawsuit
A Nevada woman, who was hired by the VECO Corporation to participate in the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill beach cleanup in Prince William Sound, has filed a lawsuit after suffering from a variety of debilitating medical problems over the past 20 years. The author of a book about her experiences during the cleanup, she's now using the Web site she created to promote the book to try and convince thousands of other former workers with similar problems to follow her lead.
