Prisoner Escapes from Valdez Jail
Valdez police successfully apprehended a prisoner who escaped from the Valdez Regional Jail Friday after a three-hour manhunt lead them to a local residence the fugitive had broken into. According to police, the man was able to escape through the front door of the jail when it was accidentally left unlocked during Friday evening's meal service. KCHU's Erik Wander has the story:
