Eileen Ivers to Perform in Valdez
Eileen Ivers has been described as the preeminent exponent of the Irish fiddle in the world today. She's been called a "sensation" by Billboard Magazine and "the Jimi Hendrix of the violin" by the New York Times. She's a Grammy Award winning musician, who has performed for presidents and royalty worldwide. On December 1st, the Valdez Arts Council brings Eileen Ivers and Immigrant Soul and her famed Celtic fiddle to Valdez for an evening of Irish folk music. KCHU's Erik Wander has more:
