Silence in the Sound
A Nevada woman, who made news late last summer when she filed a longshoreman's lawsuit related to 1989's Exxon Valdez Oil Spill, is beginning to draw attention of a different nature. She had filed the lawsuit after suffering from a variety of debilitating medical problems in the 20 years after participating in cleanup efforts in Prince William Sound. Now a book she published in 2004 about her experiences during the cleanup is making waves of its own. KCHU's Erik Wander has more:
