City Pilots Pet First Aid
As part of its emergency preparedness plan, the city of Valdez recently pilot tested a pet first aid class aimed at preparing future responders with skills necessary to care for animals during a disaster or simply when they're sick or injured. The hope is to continue the program with a series of such classes for anyone in the community who loves or cares for animals. KCHU's Erik Wander has more:
