Chitina Dipnetters

The Alaska Board of Fisheries will decide next month whether Chitina dip-netters should be classified as personal-use or subsistence fishermen. The Chitina Dipnetters Association, which sued the state last year over the designation, wants a subsistence classification because subsistence uses have a higher priority than commercial salmon fishing.
