Paper Conservator at Valdez Museum
The
question of how best to preserve paper records, photographs and other
paper-based artifacts is of particular relevance to museum curators in Alaska.
That's why the Alaska State Museum currently has a visiting professional paper
conservator traveling to several locales in the state to examine collections,
provide professional advice and perform basic treatments on paper-based
holdings. His first stop in a series that will also include visits to Anchorage,
Fairbanks and Petersburg, is the Valdez Museum. KCHU's Erik Wander has more:
