Copper River Watershed Up-River
Saturday's Wild Food Feast and Film Festival at
the American Legion Hall in Glennallen is being sponsored by the Copper River
Watershed Project. The non-profit group hopes to boost membership in the region
in order to leverage funding from outside sources for such projects as habitat
restoration, tourism and environmental education programs. Organizers also hope the event provides an opportunity for
people who live in the upper part of the watershed to learn more about what the
Cordova-based group is doing in the region. KCHU's Erik Wander has more:
