Alyeska Announces New FV Contract
Alyeska Pipeline Service
Company has announced a compensation adjustment to participants in the Vessel
of Opportunity Program, including pay increases for fishing vessel operators.
The company also says it will now review compensation on a three-year cycle.
It remains unclear however whether the concessions announced Monday will be
enough to head off a potential strike later this month some fishermen say they
were preparing for. KCHU's Erik Wander has more:
