Female Eagle's Recovery Will Take Time

The director of a bird rehabilitation center in Anchorage says the female eagle that survived a beak-first crash with her mate into a hard snowbank in Valdez is showing strong signs of recovery from a badly injured wing and major head trauma. But she says it could be some time before the full extent of the damage and the likelihood of a return to the wild are known. KCHU's Erik Wander has more:
