First Shipment of Wild Alaska Salmon Reaches the Lower 48 - 5/17/10
The summer Alaska wild
salmon season--anticipated by seafood lovers throughout the Pacific Northwest
and beyond--kicked off in earnest Friday when Alaska Air Cargo delivered the season's
first shipment of Copper River salmon to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
And chefs
from the Waterfront Grill, Seastar and Anthony's were there to receive it and
put their best salmon recipes to the test. KCHU's Erik Wander has more:
