Coast Guard Rescue Boaters Near Hinchinbrook - 7/7/10
TheCoast Guard says boater preparedness resulted in another successful rescue inPrince William Sound this week. All four men rescued from a beach nearHinchinbrook Entrance were reported to be in good condition Monday evening,after a wave washed over the stern of their recreational boat and disabled it. Itwas at least the sixth search and rescue case this year for a helicopter crewdeployed to Cordova to ensure speedy response during the busiest months forvessel traffic in the Sound.
