Coast Guard Seeks to Lessen Security Zone Infractions Around Terminal - 6/24/10
From
2006 to 2009, an annual average of 11 recreational vessels have illegally
entered the federally regulated security zone surrounding the Valdez Marine
Terminal. While Prince William Sound visitors account for most of the
violations, a handful of Valdez residents are among the annual tallies. And the
Coast Guard is on a campaign to change that. KCHU’s Erik Wander has more:
