Columbia Glacier Study Provides Clues to Global Warming Says Researchers - 7/27/10

Researchers with the Scipps Institution of Oceanography at the University of San Diego and the U.S. Geological Survey in Alaska have published a study they say provides clues to help explain global sea level change. The study on the Columbia Glacier—one of Alaska’s many tidewater glaciers—presents the first detailed observation of the transition from grounded to floating glaciers. KCHU’s Erik Wander has more:
