Pipeline Restarted After Scheduled Maintenance - 8/3/10
The trans-Alaska
pipeline was restarted without incident Sunday after a scheduled maintenance
shutdown. Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. says all of the work planned for the
36-hour shutdown was completed ahead of schedule, including replacement of a
valve and gas supply lines to turbine generators. KCHU’s Erik Wander has more:
