The Barrow Whalers beat Cordova, 61-60, to become the 2011 Elks Basketball Tournament Champions.
Barrow took home both titles in this year's Elks Basketball Tournament. The Lady Whalers routed Haines, 78-38, while the Whalers needed a fourth quarter comeback to beat Cordova, 61-60. Barrow's Nicole Smith and Cordova's Dane Meyer were named the Tournament's Most Valuable Players. KCHU's Tony Gorman has more.
