Valdez City Council choses potential middle school site

The Valdez City Council made its decision on the location of the new middle school building. The Council approved "Option B" during this week's regular meeting. The rough draft plans would place the stand-alone building near the track and football filed. Other options include connecting the building to either Hutchens Elementary School or Valdez High School. The vote does not mean that building will be constructed. The project is expected to cost over $28 Million dollars.
