Valdez School Board continues push for middle school building
by Tony Gorman
The Valdez School Board is continuing its push to build a new middle school building. The Board voted unanimously at this week's meeting on a resolution that supports the project. The new building would house Grades 6-8 and be located at the current track and field site. The School Board will try again to look for funding from the city. Last week, the City Council voted not to approve forward funding for the project. The Council decided to revisit the issue at next month's meeting.
