Farmer appointed to Valdez School Board

Dawn Farmer is the Valdez School Board's newest member. The former teacher was appointed during Monday's meeting. Farmer will hold the seat until October's local election. She replaces School Board Treasurer Grace Huhndorf, who resigned last month. Board member Dave Lawrence was unanimously elected as the new treasurer.
