Valdez moves forward with VHS gym renovation project

The Valdez High School gym will have a new floor and bleachers installed this fall. This week, the Valdez City Council voted unanimously to move ahead with the project after weeks of discussions. The project will affect the upcoming volleyball season, but is expected to be completed before basketball season. Councilman Alan Sorum was not present at time of the vote.
