Is there gold in the Prince William Sound's glaciers? That was one question Jonathan Goold always tried to answer. The Valdez resident spent three summers trying to find it. Those summers were captured in the award-winning documentary, Goold's Gold. The film won the Grand Jury Award at the 2011 Gen Art Film Festival in New York. It was also shown at the Newport Beach Film Festival in California. The film finally made its way to Valdez during Gold Rush Days. KCHU'sTony Gorman spoke with the film's star and co-director Ryan Sevy a day after the Valdez Premiere.
