More outages for Valdez and the Copper River Valley

Strong winds have caused more outages in Valdez and the Copper River Valley over the couple days. The Copper Valley Electric Association said power went out Tuesday night in the Black Gold, Parkstrip, and Alpine areas around 7:45. In the Copper River Valley, resident from Mile 125 to 131 of the Richardson Highway and all of the Tok Road.
Crews restored power to most of Valdez around 10 p.m. and the Copper River Valley around 5 a.m. Service was restored to all areas on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
