Captiol Hill Consulting Group and Hutchinson get lobbying contracts from Valdez

The City of Valdez is sticking to its guns for its lobbying need on the federal and state levels.The Valdez City Council voted unanimously to award lobbying contracts to Capitol Hill Consulting Group and Kim Hutchinson of Trust Consultants.
Capitol Hill has lobbied in Washington, D.C., on behald of the city for the past three years. The firm's contract is worth over $36,000 dollars.
Hutchinson's contract is worth $50,000. Hutchinson and his firm, Trust Consultants, have lobbied in Juneau for the past 19 years.
City councilman Joe Prax was not present at the time of the vote.
