Kasch unseats Kallander for Cordova mayor, Kopchak and Burton to face each other in run-off election following final election tally

Cordova has a new mayor and will have a run-off election to determine one of the seats on the City Council.  The final results came, Wednesday, after the Election Board counted the remaining 130 absentee, special needs, and questioned ballots. As KCHU’s Tony Gorman reports, Cordova typical political climate played a role in election.

 According to the Cordova City Clerk’s Office, the run-off election will be held at least three weeks from Thursday, but no date has been set.
