The Glennallen girls’ hoops team cruised to victory while, the boys stumbled in the first round of the 2-A State Tournament last night.

Arianna Dougal’s 17 points and 5 rebounds helped the Lady Panters rout Bristol Bay, 55-22.  The girls will play Craig today at 5:15 p-m.

ON the boys’ side, the Panthers battled back and forth with Bristol Bay.  In the end, the Fighting Angels emerged victorious, 46-41.  Brady Parmenter led Glennallen with 13 points in a losing effort.

The Panthers play Unalakleet this afternoon at 1:15.
