Lady Panthers finish third, Panthers get early exit from State Tournament

The Glennallen girls’ basketball team has wrapped up its season with a third place finish at the 2A State Tournament.  The Lady Panthers beat Tikigaq, this morning, 81-68.  Arianna Dougal and Kendall Maslen led the team in scoring with 15 points each.  Kelti Lorence added 14 points.  Lexus Martin chipped in 12 points.    

Yesterday, Craig held the Lady Panthers to 17 percent shooting in its 39-29 semifinal win. Dougal scored a game-high 17 points for Glennallen.

Earlier that day, the Glennallen boys’ tournament experience ended with a 57-51 loss to Unalakleet.  Stuart Towarak and Gage Ivanoff each scored 22 points for the Wolfpack.  Brent Sampson had 18 point for the Panthers.
